Case Study: Flooret | Rebuilding and Scaling an Influencer & Affiliate Program

Overview

Flooret, a direct-to-consumer luxury vinyl flooring company, engaged me to restore and scale their influencer and affiliate marketing program. Internal breakdowns had left partnerships inactive and systems underutilized. I stepped in with no transition period to re-establish relationships, rebuild infrastructure, and transform the channel into a key driver of growth.


Challenge

  • Influencer and affiliate operations had stalled due to internal issues, leaving revenue potential untapped.

  • With no segway or knowledge transfer, I had to quickly take ownership and re-activate the program without disruption.

  • Aspire, the platform in use, lacked the customization and attribution accuracy needed for long-term scaling.


Strategy

My strategy was to stabilize, rebuild, and scale the program in phases:

  1. Stabilize relationships by re-engaging Flooret’s top influencers, repairing trust, and signaling reliability.

  2. Rebuild infrastructure by migrating and re-architecting the influencer program within Aspire to establish operational consistency and accurate reporting.

  3. Optimize tracking and attribution by partnering with Aspire to co-develop custom features, ensuring revenue and ROI were measurable.

  4. Scale performance by extending influencer content into paid ads, creating a closed-loop growth system that linked organic influence with customer acquisition.

  • Restored critical relationships: Reinstated partnerships with Flooret’s top influencers, re-establishing credibility and long-term trust.

  • Rebuilt program infrastructure: Migrated and rebuilt the influencer affiliate program in Aspire with streamlined workflows for recruitment, activation, and reporting.

  • Partnered with Aspire to innovate: Co-created new features that improved program performance, including:

    • Sharable links that auto-applied promo codes at checkout

    • Enhanced dashboard data with COG and revenue attribution

    • Paid ads integrations for cross-channel visibility

  • Scaled through performance: Designed an affiliate strategy that extended influencer content into paid ads, creating a growth loop between influencer credibility and acquisition efficiency.
